About me~

I’m a Sound Designer / Technical Sound Designer living in Los Angeles, CA with a background in Audio Engineering and Music. I’ve spent the past 5 years partnering with developers and directors to make amazing audio experiences.

I’m a game developer first and foremost, and strive to understand how audio can support, enhance, and inform players’ experience. My bread and butter is ambience / foley to make any design feel grounded and convincing, though I make a point to continually expand my comfort zone! I also feel at home creating audio systems from scratch with Unreal and/or Wwise, regularly experimenting with new approaches to implementation.

Game Projects

Dream’s Reach

(2022-2024)

Early production project with Hinge Games, using Wwise-Unreal integration. Dreams Reach is a multiplayer twin-stick fantasy RPG that you can download and try out on Steam! This 4 minute video explains some systems/ implementation techniques used.

UnscrewU

(2021-2022)


The University of Unbiased Scrutiny- an educational narrative game that addresses biases. This 3 and a half minute video details my various roles in the project and shows gameplay.

Unreal Audio Demo

(2020)

A very special personal project that taught me how to use Unreal Engine. I created all the sounds, sound systems, UI, cutscenes, and game systems using UE4 and it’s blueprint system. This 10 minute video dives into the audio concepts used to make the demo. Click here to download it.

Lumin Wars

(2020)


Full SFX design for Hayper’s Lumin Wars- a mobile rock-paper-scissors type game that you can download for Android. My first game credit!☺This 46 second video shows the animations and corresponding SFX I created.

Redesigns & Game Jams

Halo 5 Guardians Redesign

(2023) Cinematic audio redesign of a snippet of Halo 5: Guardians - Saving Halsey. This 1 minute redesign follows a Spartan squadron as they mount an offensive against an Elite group to save a valuable comrade.

Progeny - Game Jam

(2023) Global game jam game made by a team of three (programmer, artist, sound designer) using Unreal Engine 5. This 3 minute video outlines some of the sfx, music, and audio systems that I was able to stuff into this game in the two sleep-deprived days we took to make it.

VALORANT Gun Skin Redesign

(2022) Small clip of some weapon interactions in the tactical shooter: VALORANT. This 20 second redesign aims to capture the clean and powerful energy that powers this rifle, while honoring the memorable and recognizable aspects of the original’s sounds.

Paladins Redesign

(2021) Rocky character ability design. This 40 second video shows off new design for the Paladins character: Inara. I tried to work within a strict sound palette to see if I could make the character’s theme resonate.

Dead Space Redesign

(2019) My first redesign. In hindsight, it was pretty ambitious… but I’m proud to say that it was made only with sounds that I recorded! This 3 minute redesign shows some of my earliest ambient, UI, foley, cinematic, weapon, and creature design.

Elder Scrolls Online Redesign

(2023) Full audio redesign for Elder Scrolls Online’s ‘The Alliances Cinematic Trailer’. This 40 second redesign follows an assassin’s infiltration of an enemy stronghold.

Shrapnel Redesign

(2023) Gameplay clip of the sci-fi extraction shooter: Shrapnel. This 40 second redesign places you in a battlefield, trying to collect the rare compound sigma while fighting for survival against other scavengers.

Root Out - Game Jam

(2021) This 1 minute trailer showcases my team’s game jam game that was further developed and awarded Best in Georgia 2021. I acted as Composer, Sound Designer, Video Editor, and Project Manager on the project. Here’s an introductory trailer to the game as well.

League of Legends Redesign

(2021) Synth-horror character ability design. This 30 second video shows off new design for the LoL character: Kassadin. I also detailed my process for the redesign in this video. This was my first foray into using a structured approach to my sound design workflow.

HATCH - Game Jam

(2019) This 4 minute trailer showcases my team’s game jam game that was further developed and awarded Best in Georgia 2019. I acted as Composer, Sound Designer, and Video Editor on the project. This was my first experience with Wwise-Unity integration!

Film

Star Wars: Birth of a Sith

(2018) Short film by Alternate Reality Studios that I was the Sound Designer for. This short film was awarded “Best Regional Short” at AtomaCon 2018.

Live Streaming Concerts

(2017) While working as an audio recording engineer at the Schwob School of Music, we would simultaneously act as directors or camerapersons to record school concerts. Linked is an example of our recording studio’s productions.

Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero

(2016-2017) Credited as Audio Engineer Intern on Fun Academy Studio’s animated movie. I helped schedule voice acting sessions, assisted our recording engineers during recording sessions, and upkept detailed spreadsheets on the script and director-favored takes.
